The idea
Bring attention to the details that shape the experience of an everyday writing tool.
Product concept / INDEPENDENT CONCEPT
Precision / Pen
Small object. Considered details.
A concept presentation for a writing instrument, exploring the relationship between grip, body, nib and cap. The exploded composition makes the proposed parts and their relationships easy to understand.
The visual direction
A restrained metallic palette, faceted forms and an ergonomic-looking grip carry the concept.
Scope of this study
The board is a visual design exploration rather than a manufacturing drawing. Materials and mechanisms would require engineering validation.
